SUMMARY/BIOGRAPHY

Joyce Koranteng was born 25th November, 1972 in Accra and hails from Larteh-Akwapim. She holds a first degree in Bachelor of Arts and an MPhil in Material Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 1999 and 2015 respectively. She started her career in CSIR-Institute of Industrial Research as Assistant Research Scientist in 2001 and ranked to Research Scientist in 2015.  Her current research interest is in the areas of developing composite from waste plastic and wood (sawdust), testing of clays, incinerator designs and construction as well as wood ash glazes. She is married with two children.
